WELCOME TO KASTER.CO.UK

We are Kaster, an unsigned four piece piano driven rock band from Glasgow in Scotland. We play all original, dynamic, melodic, piano driven tunes. We have been gigging around Glasgow for a couple of years now picking up great feedback and more followers as we go.

Kaster arose from the popular Glasgow band Glide in 2003 after the sad passing of Stuart Tasker. After a year of songwriting Kaster, burst onto the Glasgow band scene in 2005 churning out one captivating performance after another, coming to a pinnacle at the scheduled final of the Emergenza Scottish Final at the Carling Academy on 1st July 2007.

In two years of gigging Kaster have forged a reputation as a hard working, likeable band whose music engages and entrances listeners from many backgrounds. From the cheeky yet haunting 'Kaster Sonata' to the bouncing pop melodies of 'Softly' and 'Layers', Kaster have proven themselves to be one of the most instantly accessible and exciting pop bands in the Glasgow scene.

Our ambitions currently lie with writing music and letting as many people hear it as possible to gauge their reactions. So far, feedback is immense, from our own fans, other bands, other bands fans, studio staff, barstaff, doormen.... All we ask for is a chance.
