Matthew Wood - Piano and Voice
I love our music and feel its getting better all the time.
The process of
stripping our songs down and concentrating on the core parts has really
improved our sound. I love gigging, recording, rehearsing and just being
part of it all.
I think we are capable of great music and I want us to
push really hard to fulfil our potential.
Wanna play Carling Academy!
Craig Wood - Drums
Craig Wood, born 23rd September 1979.
When God created man, he asked Craig to set the rhythm of mans heart?
Some say he doesn't exist. Some believe he is just a myth but the few who
have heard this boy play, know he exists somewhere in all of us.
Listen closely to the very language of Kaster and you may catch a glimpse
of
the real Craig. Deep, dark but enlightening wordplays, delicately woven
between the more simple concepts of his peers.
Legend.
Yes, I am the man with the sticks. Don't tell anyone.

ok. so i'm the first to admit my life isnt quite going to plan thus far.
By the age of 23, the music of Kaster was supposed to have propelled my status to a sufficiently
celebrated level from which I could launch a distinguished acting career. Right now I am
supposed to be turning down a part in Indy 4 in favour of more serious acting roles.
These days my interests in Kaster are purely musical. Life moves and ambitions change after all.
For instance, all the best
bands at the mo get to duet with Charlotte Church on her new prime time show, CCTV. Somehow,
'making it' in the music world doesn't seem to be what it used to. Right now I'll settle for
loving being part of a group of people crafting their own music and putting it out there and
watching people's reactions. It doesn't get any better than that. And did I mention, the Carling
Academy!!!! Kaster, July the 1st 2007.
The most popular touring venue in Glasgow, well bugger me we must be doing something
right.

Andy Barnes - Bass
Hey,
here's my Smash Hits penpal profile....
I didn't pick up my first guitar until my 25th year when I met Matt
at work. There seemed a great void in his life - well a Bass guitarist
anyway.
So after much perseverence and my bandmates' part, well the rest is Rock 'n'
Roll history
All Time Favourites: Brian Wilson, Neil Young, The Beatles, S.F.A, the Bluetones
Currently on my grammaphone - 'Clap Your Hands, say Yhea', Jim Noir
A good day to you x
